The National’s “Alligator”: It’s growing on me

cover When I first heard The National’s album “Alligator” I was not impressed, and it quickly got ~~deleted~~ tossed into the discard pile. However, upon relistening to it online, it’s grown on me.

Some nice melancholy, this. Like Brad Roberts fronting Low with a bit of Nick Drakeyness and Post-Punk thrown in.
