You could pick up an item from my “New Apartment Amazon Wishlist” and help me stock my place with the necessities.

I won’t strip on a webcam or anything…

So, there’s that.

Patriotism WOW!

So I’m searching Amazon for a shower curtain for my new place (I move in tomorrow, yay!) and I come across this testament to…to… to something, not quite sure. Your thoughts?

That’s right. It’s a USA shower curtain.

Interestingly, Amazon did not have it in stock.  Also, as of late ‘07 its not in their store anymore

$10 says there were 0 sold north of the Mason-Dixon.

You ever stumble upon a piece of literature or a quote or a song that perfectly describes a part of you?

I know you have.

Well, when thinking about the frustrations of dealing with the opposite sex, I happened upon a post on Greg The Boyfriend which hits pretty on the nose the dangers of being out of the ‘getting that rush’ loop for awihle.

Does this hit home for any of you?

Thanks to my bud Cory for hooking me up with the AC/DC catalogue (hey look Cor, you finally made it into a post!), once again proving that they are the greatest rock and roll band of all time.

I’m always on the lookout for more bands who strive toward AC/DC-style godliness, and just happened to come across one called Supagroup from New Orleans who do a pretty passable version. [MySpace]

Oh, and also they’re going to be playing the Beacon Theater with none other than Whitesnake at the end of July. How rock ‘n’ roll is that.

Another more local band is The Compulsions, who are on MySpace

I, as always, would love to hear if y’all have any other recommendations (other than The Donnas who I know about.

Alba looking hot

“It’s not always so great to be objectified,” she says. “But I don’t feel I have much of a choice right now. I’m young in my career. I know I have to strike when the iron is hot.” -Jessica Alba

I don’t know if you’ve heard this, but apparently there are some doubts as to the genuineness of Tom and Katie’s love for each other.

I dunno, how can you doubt anyone who can do this:

Personally, I think he’s just angling to get Dawson’s phone number.

I’m just kidding, Sci***ology lawyers.

coverWhen I first heard The National’s album “Alligator” I was not impressed, and it quickly got deleted tossed into the discard pile. However, upon relistening to it online, it’s grown on me.

Some nice melancholy, this. Like Brad Roberts fronting Low with a bit of Nick Drakeyness and Post-Punk thrown in.
